Each time the oil price increase by 10 sen, my heart missed a bit. This time around it almost stopped!!!Pak Lah, do you know the consequences of oil hike?It is the poor like us who will suffer the most. Right now , when you go to the market, the fishmongers, vegetable sellers and shopkeepers are hiking prices of goods like nobody's business. The rich and powerful will not at all feel the pinch. But we do, very badly. Or is it the reward to the rakyat for giving you the biggest mandate ever?

Adakah ini dikatakan 'fair distribution of income'? Terima kasih.

Why hike 30cent to RM1.92per liter when the government can make it easy by hiking it up to RM2.00. That would at least make it easier for the low income consumers to buy petrol.I know a lot of people do not like Tun Mahathir during his premiership as Prime Minister of Malaysia. But looking back at how he do things and protect the oil prices from hikinh up every year like now, regardless what people say about him,i still wish he's the Prime Minister now instead of Abdullah Badawi.A sudden hike to 30cent and no other hiking up for this year.Yea right!!And i'm sure it will be hiked up again next year, maybe it's gonna be 50cent.The government can make it easier to the Malaysian people by hiking it up on stages,10 cent every 4 month.I just don't understand it.I do not see a Government that's fighting for it's peoples welfare and future, but a government that is making things worse each and every year. With the new but old cabinet line up,what does these corrupted people can do,hike more prices to make Malaysians suffer!!

mushroom universe, you are very right. I am no fan of Tun Mahathir. But judging by the way Pak Lah is doing thing, I, too, would love to have him back at the helm. Looks like Pak Lah is really empty upstairs. Just 'ikut' sahaja what the advisers said. whereas Tun has the brain to think well. He knows what he is in to. But we can't blame Pak Lah. He is like 'Perodua kancil' and Tun is like Ferari. How to compare. We the rakyat are to be blame - for giving him such a big mandate. Now Pak Lah is on cloud nine, thinking he is the 'best' PM, ever!!!

With the 30 cent increase on our petrol, be prepared for more bad news to come. All our basic needs will surely increase too. This is life under Pak Lah's era.

For heaven's sake. if the government doesnt have enough money to pay the subsidy of the oil prices, it is up to the government to find new source of income! let me put this into a perspective, if a CEO of a company finds that the company is unable to subsidise the medical benefits of it's staff due to lack of moeny, then it is his duty to find more business to gain that extra money. The PM should really think about going overseas and invite investors or whatever kinds of business opportunities here in M'sia. Generation of wealth. Bring foreign money into M'sia. Be a salesman la my dear PM. Make M'sia attractive to businesses so that our GDP will grow. This will help alleviate the financial burden of subsidising the petrol. Ask KJ lah. He knows what to do. (Sarcasm)Tuesday,
